obsession: Ross Mathews

You may know him from The Jay Leno Show or Celebrity Fit Club, but this witty gay man keeps me laughing time and time again! I watched him recently as he took over the hosting duties for Chelsea Lately. One word: HILARIOUS! I haven't laughed that much in a long time. I enjoyed him so much that I even stayed up past my bed time...can you believe it?

facebook depression

Excessive Facebook Use Could Lead To Depression In Teens

Not sure how I feel about this study. Although I am not a teen, I can understand the addiction to Facebook and other social medias. I cannot imagine myself falling into a deep depression by being "de-friended." I'll admit it....I yearn for the end of the work day when I am able to check people's updates, relationship status', pictures, etc. Some call it facebook stalking, whereas, I refer to it as curiosity. Click on the "like" button below (a new feature) to share with your other facebook friends - maybe they will like to stalk my blog?? I even started a Twitter account to see what all the fuss was about - you can follow me @MollyMunson.

Are you addicted?

laughed to this one

HAHA! I'm sure people say this to Jeff every once in awhile....

obsession: vaseline

I know what you are thinking - get your mind out of the gutter. Seriously.

This past weekend I have come across a new obsession - Vaseline! While doing venue research for the upcoming wedding, I've quickly noticed how expensive things are and put myself on a budget. I'm sure there will be more blogs to come complaining about how I don't have any money to have fun or buy any clothes.

When I got the urge to purchase a cream based blush, I told myself NO! Instead I put on my favorite blush, NARS Orgasm, and added a thin layer of Vaseline to my cheeks. I kid you not - it looks amazing. It gives you that fresh, summer, dewey look that I was trying to accomplish. Why stop there? I proceeded to put the Vaseline on my unruly eyebrows and those things stayed in place all day.

Maybe I am late to figure out this affordable beauty buy. I began to wonder what else could I use Vaseline for? Here are 50 uses for the timeless product.

obsession: Michelle William's haircut

I'm in LOVE LOVE LOVE with Michelle William's haircut. I think she has had it for a couple of months, but I still love it. When I am older and can pull off a short hair-do, this is what I am going to get.

per request...

Engelman requested I added details in regards to the details of my engagement - so here we go!

Jeff had been apparently planning this for a couple of months. He tricked one of our friends to go shopping for a ring because her and her boyfriend were talking more about getting engaged - when in reality, she wanted me to find a ring. I found a ring that I loved and gave Jeff my little "hint hint" card provided by Wedding Day that informed Jeff of my ring size and the serial number of the ring I loved. I'm so desecrate right???

We were on a Suedbeck family vacation to the Dominican Republic and heading back to the lobby after dinner for a show. I was taking some family photos in front of a fountain and while his sister was trying to figure out the flash, she suggested I go stand next to Jeff for a picture. Once she figured out the flash, Jeff said, "Well, maybe it would look better if I get down on one knee." Before he could say knee, I was bawling saying, "Are you sure? Are you sure? YES!" One of the best lines I told Jeff after he proposed was, "You know when you purpose to a girl, you have to actually marry them...right?" I just wanted to make sure he knew what he was getting himself into! :)

Needless to say, the planning has begun and he is probably already annoyed by me. But whatever, he has to live with me FOREVER (in the sandlot voice).

Is that enough detail Engelman?

follow by email

This is very exciting! For those of you who don't check blogs regularly, you can now follow by email! Just type your email into the box (on the right hand side of the screen) and you will be notifed when there have been updates.

Now you can keep track of all the exciting - or not so exciting - things I blog about.

you can do it...maybe

Just a random thought, but why is it SO difficult to go home and THEN go to the gym? I'm one of those people that has a gym membership and doesn't utilize it. Yes, I know what you are thinking, "Why are you wasting your money?" All I can say, is that one day I hope it clicks and I realize that I need to go the gym - and I hope I have a gym membership when it happens. Especially with getting married next year, I want to have a banging body.

Back to my thought. If on the random occasion I do decide to hit up the gym - I must go directly after work! If I go home, I won't leave. But tonight I have going to try and make it happen! There is a cycle class at 5:30 PM and I am going to go home, change and then go to the class.

Maybe if I blog about it, I'll have to hold myself accountable. We will see.....

Engaged!

This past week we went to the Dominican Republic for a family vacation with the Suedbeck's. Little did I know, Jeff was going to pop the question! We were on our way to the hotel lobby area and decided to take some family photos. His sister was trying to get the flash to work and all I can remember is Jeff getting down on one knee!! Something I will never see again in my life.

The day we got back the planning began! Whooo!

#81 the polar plunge

I am easily persuaded and somehow my friends were able to convince me to jump into the freezing waters of Crystal Lake for the Polar Plunge. This past weekend, we made the leap and one word that would best describe that moment would be: COLD! Our team raised over $600 for the Special Olympics! Although this was for a great cause, this was a once in a lifetime event for me. I think next year I'll watch from the sidelines.

Thanks to everyone that donated and came out to support us! It was very much appreciated.
